sites but our specialised school installation and
service team are trained and specifically focused
to the school environment, in all school environments.

Schools and the associated environments introduce a high level of OHS and preventative strategies with new physical equipment (such as Camera’s, Intercom, Speakers etc) and the associated cabling structure with our team working very closely with the Executives initially and throughout the project with additional daily discussions with the administration to ensure the teams work in with scheduled school events such as exams, excursions, meetings etc to help minimise disruptions.

Over the years, we have found that the equipment we install into a school environment needs to be tougher than steel and the range of equipment we supply are designed to withstand most if not all situations.

Our services range from a single camera cabled to viewing monitor (such as a sick bay) right through to a fully interactive smart building including CCTV (analogue, digital and hybrid), Access Control, Security (building alarms and perimeter), Intercom & Intercommunication, Public Address (PA) & Background Music and Emergency Alert.

IP Technology forms the structure of our systems and whilst it is possible to utilise existing school LAN structure, CCTV systems can utilize ALL available bandwidth real fast and the best design is one based on its own independent structure (either optical fibre or Category 6 copper cabling).

Like all systems, the software brings it all together and provides the end user, a nice fast and easy way to interact with the systems.  Our software is multi-user with multiple levels of security to ensure that reception only looks at reception and the Exec’s not only look at all live footage, but can also playback, export, audit etc (in the case of CCTV), whilst our Access Control systems can provide not only full audit and user programming but also Muster reporting, Time & Attendance, Car Park Control and Advanced Reports (a structured reporting software module where you can design an exact report based on various conditions). Software use may be controlled including CCTV viewing may be policy based and we always advise to check with your security advisor for a copy of the applicable security policies covering the said security requirement.

Unfortunately, times are changing and Lockdown is becoming a more commonly used word in schools. Securacore can design an exact system to suit your school that at a press of a button, the entire schools goes into a Full Lockdown, including locking all gates and doors (that are access controlled), alert Security, disable all access both in and out of the school whilst Lockdown and simple keyswitch reset on ‘All Clear’.  For a higher level of security, we can also integrate the Lockdown with any existing PA system or install a new system to provide audible advise of the same condition and if a multi zone system is installed, then individual messages can be transmitted to individual areas on an as-need basis and without any human intervention and all this happens within seconds.
